Today, we are excited and proud to announce that Main Street Hub will be acquired by GoDaddy.

When we started Main Street Hub in 2010, we set out to build a company that would be relentlessly focused on our customers, defined by a culture of personal ownership and professional growth, and dedicated to helping small businesses thrive by enabling them to focus on doing the things they love.

In the years since, we’ve grown to serve more than 10,000 customers, providing them with a suite of services to build their digital identity, manage their social media presence, and deliver outstanding customer service. Throughout our history, we’ve prioritized making a big impact for small businesses over the long term, building products and making decisions that support accomplishing our mission.

With today’s news, we take a big step forward towards delivering our vision. GoDaddy powers the world’s largest cloud platform dedicated to small, independent ventures. With more than 17 million customers worldwide and 73 million domain names under management, GoDaddy is the place people come to name their idea, build a professional website, and attract customers.

Creating a website is the first step in building a digital presence. Small businesses need more to build out their complete digital identity — active management of social properties and email marketing, for example — to drive engagement, loyalty, and results.

We’ve built the technology and the team to help small businesses take that next step, and we are thrilled to join the GoDaddy team and expand our impact faster and more effectively as a result.

Together, we will offer small businesses a complete “do-it-for-me” experience, providing them with a comprehensive solution for small business marketing needs, including websites, brand development, social media management, digital customer service, email marketing, commerce, SEM and SEO capabilities, and more. And, we’ll be able to provide these exceptional customer experiences to small businesses around the world.

What excites us most about GoDaddy, though, is the culture that the team has built: customer-centric, inclusive, and positive, with high standards for excellence and a focus on results. Our two cultures have much in common, and it’s that similarity that makes us so energized about these two teams coming together.

Going forward, we will stay focused on our mission and continue to deliver outstanding customer experiences and results for our customers. Every team member will be joining GoDaddy, and the two of us will continue to lead this organization within GoDaddy.

This is a big milestone for the company and this team. But as we wrote here in October, and as we have said for eight years, every milestone we achieve is a beginning. They are moments of promise — and moments to ask what we can accomplish next for our customers.

As we pause in this moment, reflecting on what we’ve built together and what we will build together with our new colleagues at GoDaddy, we want to share our gratitude.

To our teammates at Main Street Hub, thank you for your hard work and your unyielding commitment to our values. You inspire us every day, and we cannot wait to continue this journey with you.

To our teammates’ spouses, significant others, and families, thank you for the support you give to the incredible people we are privileged to work with every day.

To our investors and board members, thank you for believing in our vision, for your guidance, and for your devotion to this company.

And finally, to our customers, thank you for the faith you have placed in us and for giving us the opportunity to help you achieve your dreams. We are excited to continue to make an impact for you and other small businesses everywhere in the years ahead.
