Janko Isidorovic, Mainflux Co-founder and COO participated at ONS Panel Discussion: Edge Computing League — LF Edge Umbrella, with
professionals from ARM, Zededa and AT&T. Summit took place in San Jose from 3–5 April.

As in previous years, ONS 2019 continues to gather the networking industry and open source community sharing the future of SDN, NFV, VNF, Cloud Native Networking, Orchestration, Automation of Cloud, Core Network, Edge, Access, and IoT services.

Panel Discussion was dedicated to recently created Linux Initiative,
LF Edge, an umbrella organization whose goal is to establish an open, interoperable framework for edge computing independent of hardware, silicon, cloud, or operating system.

LF Edge includes Akraino Edge Stack, EdgeX Foundry, and Open Glossary of Edge Computing, formerly stand-alone projects at The Linux Foundation.

Mainflux is a member of LF Edge with industry-leading founding members
Arm, AT&T, Baidu, Dell EMC, Ericsson, HP Inc., HPE, Huawei, IBM, Intel, Red Hat, Samsung Electronics among the others.
