After full implementation of mutual-TLS authentication with X.509 certificates, the highest level of security, that took place in April,
our team released Mainflux IoT Platform v0.9.0.

This release brings many new features and improvements. Some of them are the following:

First Mainflux UI is improved as well as documentation.

Docker multi-arch builds support.

Things to support single user scenario, which adds single-user mode to things service.

Allow custom Thing key —update key endpoint and adds key field to create thing endpoint. In other words, this PR adds support for a custom key.

Open tracing support — Adds base open tracing support to users and things service. Because tracing instrumentation has been broken until now! OpenTracing is a new, open distributed tracing standard for applications and OSS packages. Developers with experience building microservices at scale understand the role and importance of distributed tracing.
