Being exploited…

Quite often we hear about our loved ones, friends and acquaintances — getting cheated. Scammed. Manipulated. Exploited. Of course this is something to grieve about, I agree! In the hindsight, we should also remind ourselves about this unwavering goodness of this world. Every time we hear about someone being cheated, it only reaffirms this fact that there are still people who continue to invest their faith in other humans — despite of all the negativity in this world. There are still those who don’t know how to manipulate. And those who naively trust and keep their hope in the others’ words. And that the whole world hasn’t yet turned into a gigantic monstrous lump of scepticism and manipulation. And that the capitalism, media-poisoning and all the other ill traits of the society haven’t yet succeeded converting us into mere dead machines, rendering all our remnant humaneness void — for who can cheat a machine? Like the glittering stars sprinkled across the vastness of dark sky, these innocent souls remain etched forever on to the existence — as beacons of hope and light!
