Cradling the baby…

When a baby cries, our first instinct is to take a colourful object, a certain toy, a keychain and place it in front of the baby and she stops crying. This trick works wonders, but this is also the first time we get used to the trick of distracting ourself from the roots of our suffering. As we grew up, the colourful objects, toys and keychains grew up as well: taking various forms, but the art of distracting oneself from the roots of suffering, remained in-tact.

The baby in us still cries sometimes. The baby inside wants to reconcile. Do we have time to love her? Do we have time to cradle her and transform her suffering?
