The wish of a poor man to move to a city and earn more, goes beyond his basic necessities. Many of us want to become rich not because we love luxury. Being rich is a way we choose to reclaim our lost freedom, acceptance and respect from others. With all the poverty around we feel helpless not being able to end it. By offering others the gifts of freedom, acceptance & respect, we are already improving our economy. If can make each other feel “you are enough”, we are rich already and we won’t exploit others to earn more. This isn’t just a mere thought but a doable reality. We don’t need to be rich to improve our economy. Economy/poverty has a psychological component that we all can attend to — through our thoughts, words and deeds — immediately~
