Eyes of truth
How can we ever prevent a man from understanding a certain text that he is reading aloud by closing his ears: so he mayn’t hear it and thereby can’t understand what he’s reading?
How foolish!
Similarly how can we ever prevent a man from understanding the love, the cosmos and reality — by closing his senses with flowery words, dogmas and conceptions?
For the eyes of truth are always watching!
