Good deeds and good luck

We grow up with the notion that by performing good deeds – one always receives blessings/good karma. From God, from fellow beings and so on. So the very expectation/craving for blessings, good luck has already changed the course of the good deeds we perform and we encounter suffering. With careful analysis, we see that every-time we do a good deed, we choose goodness, love, kindness and compassion over the multitudes of ways where we can be selfish, ruthless, unethical and brutal! So, we shouldn’t worry whether doing good deeds give us blessings because the very possibility of performing a good deed is itself a blessing and that it is always possible to perform one ~~
