Multiplying the joy of drinking tea

When you hold the cup of tea in your hand gently, think of the calm surface of tea as the tender forehead of a baby. Before you have your first sip, please take time and enjoy looking at the tea just as you would enjoy the sight of a baby sleeping peacefully. For the first sip, launch your lips onto the surface of the tea as if you’re kissing the baby’s forehead: with tenderness and grace. And smile.

Whenever I do this, my joy of drinking tea is multiplied by several times!
