On Hope…

Each day as we wake up, we need to hope that we all, as species, will learn to live in harmony with the environment and with the other beings that inhabit it. I strongly feel that hope is a moral obligation. We all are morally obligated to hope. When we hope, we acknowledge and remind ourselves of the fact that there are kind and good hearted people all around us, trying to make this world a better place in their own ways. Without hope, there is no point in doing whatever we are doing. Hope in this sense isn’t a blind self-help optimism, but the very chisel with which we carve the world and our purpose. Hope is the very ingredient of world-making~
