Rabbit in my cloth peg…

Though I don’t stay in a forest, as I was folding my clothes this morning: I saw a rabbit with its beautiful ears smiling at me. But it needed me to let it manifest from a cloth peg. Because rabbit is verily beyond its fur and fluffiness — it can manifest in million different ways. Going in and out of existence is a play for it. When we see a rabbit, the rabbit tells us: “dear friend, please learn to look for me in various forms beyond my fur and fluffiness. I want to stay with you all forever”.

We need to remind each other to look beyond the form. When we look beyond the form, earth is no longer an inert piece of rock beneath our feet, but a living and breathing thing flowing through us: creating our life and sustaining it. Similarly, all of our ancestors and beloved ones, like Earth, are always present. If we provide them causes and conditions, they manifest, like the rabbit. But if we destroy the causes and conditions, they stop manifesting. Mindfully looking beyond the form of Mother earth, we shall slowly discover her inside all of us. We shall do everything to protect her through our action and non-action.

If it is a shame to miss the smiling rabbit in our cloth peg, what to speak of the shame in missing the glimpse of our beautiful planet in each of our lovely smiles and being?
