Make+do is a project from the studio of Anderson+Aksnes. It is about making and doing and making do.

It can be hard to begin. And it can be hard to finish. Make+Do aims to overcome these challenges by setting challenges to be begun and finished. These side projects within a side project will each last one month.

The rules are as follows:

Every month one of us is challenged by the other to make or do a thing.

When finished, the thing must be documented here. The incentive for successful completion of the thing is a slap up meal for the maker.

Failing to complete the thing within one month results in the maker buying the meal.

The following month, the roles are reversed.

Make+Do was inspired by the doings and makings of:

“Doing Not Talking”; the mantra of the Global Service Jam created by @adamstjohn & @markusedgar

Finished Not Perfect; a message from @mrjakeparker

Another Sidecast; the side project that celebrates side projects by @cifountaine

Analogue Social; the place for talking about doing whilst drinking
