Thank you Make Film, Make History

Make Film, Make History came to an end and we would like to share with our readers how for some of us this project has been so meaningful and impactful.

“There a lot of nice memories. Especially there was the chance to meet so many amazing people from all over Europe and the chance for my team to meet with the British Commission for the European Union”.

“I think the most important experience we made in this project was how intercultural communication actually works. When the project started I thought within Europe there weren’t any difference in the way we communicate. However, over the time I realized our ways of communications are even within Europe very different. Further, to realize and adapt to this different ways of communications the most important step in working in an international team. At the end of the day I think that this experience can be very valuable when we actually enter the job market in some years”.

“For me it was a positive thing to be challenged by ups and down, mistakes and surprises during the project. It was a big test for me to see if I can keep going and adjust to changing circumstances. And most important I enjoyed working with my team members a lot!”

Thirty young people coming together in this project might have proved that you can create something great just by having a common goal. So on a wider note our biggest success is that we have made people think — maybe not changed anything profound, but just making people think about the meaning of war, propaganda and being young in Europe today, might have inspired someone.

Participating in this project has changed me. It’s made me aware of how many opportunities there might be out there — and it has made me want to participate in more projects!”
