July 2024 “Make It So” Writing Prompt: Star Trek Words Starting With “C”
This writing challenge was really more of listing challenge, picking a letter and thinking of Star Trek related words that start with that letter. I started brainstorming on Star Trek related words over a week ago. Revisiting my spreadsheet tonight, I tallied the words, picked the most prevalent letter, and then added a few more to it. I was surprised that after the brainstorming phase, the letter “C” was the winner, beating out both “S” and “T” which I thought for sure would dominate. Also surprising was “D” being the runner-up.
“C” it is, 66 examples total…

Out of these, I think Charles “Trip” Tucker is my favorite example, as far as characters, though this one is a little bit of a stretch considering he went by his nickname Trip.
