2. Hynt is tiny, but intelligent. The Hynt Token is a device with a coin-sized footprint that gives your phone a much more precise understanding of its location. How precise? Less than a foot, precise. Even indoors. (unlike GPS)
3. Hynt is totally wireless. From wherever you place it, a Hynt Token sends out a Bluetooth LE signal that acts as a digital marker for that exact physical spot. With 2 years of battery life, a peel-and-stick backing and a magnetic mount, it stays put.

How it works

When you come close to one of your Hynt Tokens, the Hynt app uses a special-ringtone, no-nonsense notification to bring important reminders to your attention. Even if your phone is on silent.

Why we’re building it

We all forget things. We set reminders, but we still miss things. Reminders can be improved.

How about a weather alert you see at the front door before you leave? Or a pill reminder that hits you up when you’re standing in front of the medicine cabinet? That’s now possible, with Hynt showing you smart alerts that trigger just when you need them most.

So what is Hynt?

Hynt is a way to get reminders you cant miss. A way to get what you need at just the right moment. A way to bring location smarts to your smartphone.

Most of all, Hynt helps you seize the moment. Which moment? That’s entirely up to you.

We’re sharing more & more each week leading up to the launch. If you’re reading this on March 3rd, we kn0w you’re already subscribed. Or, maybe you’re a friend of a subscriber. How we know this: this post isn’t going to be promoted publicly until the 5th. That means it won’t appear on our blog or social posts until then.
