Time to celebrate! 14 organizations across the city were selected for The Chattanooga Make-a-Thon, a 12-hour design and development marathon benefiting local nonprofit and humanitarian causes.

We received over 50 amazing applications from some of the most incredible nonprofits in our community. We were fortunate to be able to interview many of these nonprofits and were humbled by their work. It was a difficult decision, but we are excited to announce the nonprofits that we will be working with for this event.

The organizations selected are Bridge Scholars of Chattanooga, Chambliss Center for Children, Chattanooga Community Kitchen, Chattanooga Design Studio, Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy, Chattanooga’s Kids on the Block, Crabtree Farms, Downside Up, Early Childhood Coalition, FACES: The National Craniofacial Association, Friends of the Chattanooga Public Library, Love’s Arm Outreach Ministries, Welcome Home of Chattanooga, and You Belong.

The Chattanooga Make-a-Thon will be held on September 23, 2017 from 8:00am to 8:00pm at The Edney. It will include lots of snacks and surprises, a Learning Lounge for nonprofits on a variety of technology and design topics, as well as Drinks & Demos to cap off the day.

The event will be sponsored by GitHub, Linode, Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, EPB, Balsamiq, Make Beautiful, Oddstory Brewing, FEED Co. Table and Tavern, Lupi’s Pizza Pies, Mojo Burrito, Frothy Monkey, Juice Bar, Bread & Butter, Bluegrass Grill, Velo Coffee Roasters, Chattanooga Whiskey, 127 Press, Inkelope and Sticker Mule.

A very special thank you to Causeway for their support and guidance along the way.
