The Organization

Touching Young Lives combats Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, or S.I.D.S., through education and use of The Portable Alternative Crib, a simple cardboard box with padding at the bottom that can be used to sleep infants safely. Over 900 families in need within Baltimore city have been provided with a safe sleeping space for their infants.

The Project

Touching Young Lives was looking for leave behind materials that they could bring with them as additional information when raising awareness about S.I.D.S. and The Portable Alternative Crib.

The Team

Their team consisted of two makers including Christine Baumgarten and Valerie Anderson.
