Thanks to all who tuned in to our second Facebook Live co-hosted by BREAD & Higher Purpose Co with our featured guest Julian Mitchell. Get into these genius-inspired keys from the likes of Lena Waithe and Dame Dash!

  1. Until you find your life’s work, you’ll spend your life working. How and why are YOU deserving of a platform that will bring you to success? Your purpose lies beneath every major and minor decision you make. Find it. Be able to articulate and translate your WHY to anyone and anything when you fight for and approach opportunities.

2. Be active participants in culture. Great brands reflect a distinct culture. You are a brand to the world based on your looks and sound. The more people get to know you, the more they understand the culture you bring. Successful business seek individuals with a unique value able to be tapped into. Before anything, invest into your brand and culture.

3. Establish your philosophy — After finding your purpose, challenge others to shift their initial perspectives of the value you bring to your passion. Shake their ideas of the status quo and make them believe that your philosophy isn’t too good to be true — that it is possible, accessible and lucrative.

4. Let your work do the talking. Personify people and things that live and embody your philosophy. Bring testimonials and tangible success stories to the table. Let society see your work boast its worth.

5. Application, Application, Application — Get involved in workshops and trainings. This spreads and brings your philosophy to life. Allow others to apply and combine your work with their unique experiences. Scale up methods that work and build your brand from those successes. Share keys with others and encourage them to pass it on. By doing this you contribute to a cycle built on a steady foundation.
