Product Update — Apr 2021

This month’s updates brings some big changes in the UX and AI side of our product.

New Summary List Layout

We have introduced a new card-based layout for showing the summaries. It is easier and faster to use than the list and table-based format we had used until now.

Organizing into Lists

• Clicking the card shows you a quick preview of the summary
• Mark a summary as Important, Starred, or Archived by clicking the buttons on the card
• See all summaries marked as Important, Starred, or Archived
• This feature was available on our mobile apps for a while that we brought into our web app as well

Keyboard Navigation

• Up, Down Arrow Keys move focus between the cards
• Enter Key to show the quick preview of the card in focus.
• Right, Left Arrow Keys move you between the pages.
• L Key — Show the Latest items list.
• I Key — Show the Important items list.
• S Key — Show the Starred items list.

We have also made similar UI/UX changes to simplify making summaries and viewing the full details.

Updated AI Engine for Summarizing

We have updated the underlying AI/NLP engine to bring in the latest advances. A few exciting possibilities have emerged due to this upgrade which we will roll out in the coming weeks!
