Product Update — Mar 2021
This month’s product update brings some exciting new ways of using MakeMySummary — Browser Extensions and Search.
Browser Extensions
Now you can generate summaries directly from the webpage you are on. Also, summarize any selected text on the browser tab by right clicking on it. We have the following browser extensions ready for use:
- Chrome Extension — works on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Brave
- Firefox Extension
Install the extension for your browser by visiting the Integrations page on the WebApp.
Note: You will need to create a password to use the browser extension at this time. See how to do it here.
Khan Academy
Students and online course participants on Khan Academy can summarize your course chapters. Visit the New Summary section on the WebApp to make course chapter summaries.
Search
All summaries are now searchable. Just click on the Search button on the summary list page on the WebApp.
