Product Update —May 2021
This month’s updates include new integrations and a new summary size. We are also introducing a new 14-day trial period for Starter Plan and ending our Free plan.
Notion Integration
Using this integration, you can now send new summaries to Notion. Connect to Notion from the Integrations page, and choose a database to post summaries.
Slack Integration
Using our Slack Integration, you can:
- Send summaries to Slack from MakeMySummary
- Create a new summary using a slash command — you can summarize both URL and text this way
- Search within your summaries using a slash command
- Interact with the summaries by marking them as archived, important, or starred.
100–200 Word Summary Size
We have introduced a new summary size based on word count. You can now make summaries that are a maximum of 100 or 200 words. The 200-word summary is the new default summary size for new users. You can always choose any of the other dimensions when you make a summary.
You can also globally set a summarize size for your account from Menu > <Your Email-Id> > Change Settings.
14-Day Trial period for the Starter plan
We have instituted a 14-day trial period for our Starter Plan. During this trial period, users can try all the features of the paid plan. There’s no obligation to stay subscribed, and you’ll only be charged on the day the free 14-day trial ends. If you cancel your trial at any time before it ends, you won’t be charged.
End of the Free plan
We are sorry to inform you that we have decided to discontinue the Free plan now. The content you have summarized till now will continue to be accessible to you from the web and mobile. But you will not be able to make new summaries or connect any new integrations from the web or mobile. All your integrations will also stop working. Please consider hopping on to our free 14-day trial of the Starter plan.
If you have any feedback or comment, please do share them here.
Cheers!
