What is an astrologer?

From Webster’s dictionary,

Definition of astrologer: a person who practices astrology

Definition of astrology: the divination of the supposed influences of the stars and planets on human affairs and terrestrial events by their positions and aspects

I think of myself as a cosmic meteorologist. When we know the weather forecast, we can dress accordingly. If it is going to rain, we can grab our umbrella and create a drier future.

Keyword from the definition above: influences.

It’s not that the planets are forcing us, or even doing anything to us. They are currents of energy that flow all around us. Take a second to think about the full moon shining in the sky. Do you feel moved by her brilliance? What about a sunny day? Do you smile more when the sun is shining?

My work as an astrologer is not to tell you how to live your life or tell you who you are. I’m not here to label you or define you. Instead, I can offer a creative perspective on patterns, rhythms, and cycles occurring throughout your life and at given periods.
