A Shift is Happening, But It’s Not the End of the World — It’s the Beginning!

I’ve never been the one to quote Greek philosophers to make a point, but nowadays it seems too relevant to ignore, so here goes: In the famous words of Greek Philosopher Heraclitus, “The only constant thing in life is change”.

We are living through a monumental paradigm shift that presents chaos, wars, conflicts, and sickness. The list goes on. And while it’s exhausting to think we are living on the brink of what feels like total collapse, the universal law of polarity tells us that on the opposite end of the chaotic spectrum, we can still find joy, happiness, love, friends, peace, and health.

During these trying times, sometimes looking inward and focusing on improving your existence is much more productive than trying to make sense of the world. According to Forbes, these are the 10 global trends that will define 2024, don’t get caught flatfooted and unprepared. The impact on us will call for more self-care, mental strength, stronger health, and vitality to cope, navigate, and get through the times.

Every year, I create a self-care and mental wellness arsenal that I use to hold me down while I navigate my goals. This keeps me on task and help me track my progress. This is the first year I’m sharing my list, but in these times when the fight for focus and attention is real and the world is competing for our sanity, I think these transformational tools can help keep you on course to leading your transformational journey in this time of radical change. Remember, the world is changing, which means so are you. Take the time to create and develop the person you want to become, because this time, any changes we put in place today, will become our reality tomorrow (cliche, I know, but it’s true!).

The following items are in my arsenal at all times, use this to develop yours and stay your course to a successful year:

  1. Introspection — Create a quiet space for you. Take time out every day to go within and become intentional about what and who you want to become. My quiet corner is where I practice aromatherapy, sound healing, and visualization.
  2. Create a trackable plan — Plan everything! Write down your vision, create steps, and milestones, keep notes, and check in daily.
  3. Get Moving — Don’t be stationary. Keep your body light and supple, move around, and let the blood flow. I keep track of my movements to know where I’m at each day. If one day I’m at my desk all day, the next day I’m out and about. It’s all about balance!
  4. Eat Right — It might seem like overkill to track your nutrition, but if you don’t know from one day to the next what you’re doing then how do you manage your progress? There are all types of products on the market right now for these things, choose one that works for you, it will make life much easier, I promise!
  5. Sleep Tight — Don’t underestimate the regenerative power of sleep! I use these gummies nightly! When I say best sleep ever, I mean EVER. If you have issues getting a good night's rest try the gummies or find a suitable sleep routine to get the benefits of restoration.

I hope these tips are helpful to jumpstart your year of personal transformation. Don’t let this world change and leave you behind, be strong, be ready, be the best you!
