Happy Monday!

I hope you had a fantastic weekend. I used the extra hour from turning the clocks back to my advantage. I spent 8+ hours yesterday filming lessons for the personal finance course.

24 Year old Making $61,000 Feeling Depressed about Finances

This is a post I wrote in response to a Reddit user who was outlining why he feels depressed about his financial situation. What really caught my attention was the extremely negative response he received from online commenters. So much so that he had to take the post down.

The main complaint people seemed to have was he made too much money at a young age to “deserve” having financial complaints. I find that hard to believe for several reasons.

First, $61,000 is a good income, but not exactly “I never need to worry about money again” type of money.

Second, “making a lot of money” does not disqualify you from having money problems or feeling stressed about your finances.”
