Here are just a few of the things that happened this week…

We had some great news about jobs with the strongest growth for young people in a financial year since 1988/89.

We haven't seen figures this good since Taylor Swift was born!

In Melbourne the PM joined Greg Hunt to announce $5 million for brain cancer research and clinical trials. More on that here.

While in Melbourne, the PM joined Victorian Opposition Leader Matthew Guy to talk about our plan to commuters in Frankston, Baxter, and south of Mornington home sooner and safer.

The great Tim Cahill retired from international football.

Today in Tasmania the The PM and Brett Whiteley launched the Agriculture Skills Delivery package. This is a great initiative for local jobs and industry… with some incredible views as a backdrop.

And, finally, something you may have missed… Health Minister Greg Hunt recently announced a number of new life-changing medicines that will be listed on the PBS.
