We’ve just wrapped up another week in Parliament. Here are just a few of the things that have happened:

We had some unusual visitors in the PMO.

The inspirational Kurt Fearnley caught up with the PM.

The PM also had the chance to meet with cricketers Dan Christian and Ashleigh Gardner who are leading a tour to the UK to commemorate the first tour by an Australian sporting team abroad which took place 150 years ago!

Minister Dan Tehan and the PM welcomed the Catholic Church’s announcement that they will join the National Redress Scheme for survivors of institutional child sexual abuse. The National Redress Scheme will provide access to counselling, a direct personal response from the institution and a monetary payment.

Tax relief for working Australians passed through the lower house. Our plan will make taxes lower, simpler and fairer.

NSW became the first state to fully sign up to the NDIS. Thousands of Australians with a disability, their families and their carers will be better off.
