Kinto is an L2 rollup designed to accelerate the transition to an on-chain financial system. It features user-owned KYC, AML, and native account abstraction to solve the biggest blockers to mainstream adoption: security and user experience.

TLDR

  • Kinto Wallet Web SDK: A lightweight, 18KB SDK that integrates Kinto wallet capabilities into web applications.
  • Unopinionated and Flexible: No imposed UI framework, allowing developers to design custom interfaces.
  • Web3 Library Agnostic: Works seamlessly with popular Ethereum libraries like viem, ethers, and web3j.
  • Developer Portal: It helps developer manage their application settings (sponsorship, security) through a simple website.
  • Sample App Available: The React App demonstrates the SDK integration and functionality, showcasing how easy it is to create RWA apps on Kinto.

We are excited to announce the release of our Kinto Wallet SDK. Kinto offers native Sybil-resistance, KYC/AML, account abstraction, and native insurance. Now, developers can leverage all these features to build a new wave of financial applications.

🔐 Locking Kinto’s Commitment to Security

At Kinto, we aim to create a seamless transition to an on-chain financial system, addressing the critical challenges of security, compliance, and user experience. Our commitment to this vision is unwavering as we continue developing solutions that empower crypto-native and traditional finance users.

The launch of the Kinto Wallet Web SDK is a testament to our dedication to building a secure, decentralized, and efficient financial ecosystem.

By providing developers with the tools they need to create the new wave of financial applications, we want to pave the way for a more accessible and robust financial future.

⚙️ Introducing the Kinto Wallet Web SDK

The Kinto Wallet Web SDK is a powerful yet lightweight tool, weighing in at just 18KB unpacked.

The Wallet SDK has no dependencies — except Typescript — to ensure safety. Furthermore, the library is extremely lightweight to ensure that applications can deliver fast and responsive websites for users.

This compact size ensures the SDK is easy to integrate without compromising performance or security. Developers can access the SDK through npm or yarn, readily available for integration.

🔑 Key Features

  • No Dependencies: Designed to be secure and straightforward, the SDK eliminates external dependencies and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Unopinionated UI: The library uses plain Typescript without CSS or UI frameworks. Developers can choose their favorite UI framework.
  • Web3 Agnostic: Compatible with popular Ethereum libraries like ethers or viem, allowing developers to use their preferred tools without constraints.

🎭 A Practical Demonstration: The Sample App

We have developed a sample React App to illustrate the capabilities of the Kinto Wallet Web SDK.

This application is a practical example of integrating the SDK in a web application. Developers can use it as a starting point to get started quickly.

This application allows users to log in with their Kinto wallet and send transactions via their smart Kinto wallet to their application. In this case, the application is a simple Counter that the user can increment.

The Developer Portal

We have also launched a developer portal to help builders manage their applications and control the account abstraction sponsorship settings. In Kinto, users do not pay for gas, so developers must sponsor all the transactions and then charge the users depending on the application.

For example, applications can charge users at the time of deposit or withdrawal or only when profits are earned. Developers code their business logic according to their business model.
