“Why won’t you look at me when I’m talking to you???”

Delivering feedback is hard.

Feedback, feedback, feedback. Nobody’s getting enough. Everybody wants more. Most of us don’t give it enough, and are pretty lousy at it when we do. And to top it all off, Millenials — the generation that’s taking over the workforce —seem to want even more than the rest of us.

Ugh.

And then there are all of these RULES about how to do it, when to do it, how frequently to do it, whether to do it with a latte or an espresso, and what kind of bread your feedback sandwich should be on.

Double ugh.

No wonder we’re not doing it enough.
