Why Artificial Intelligence is More Like a Teenager than a God

This was one of our discussions on the recent ‘Leading in the Age of AI’ course that I was facilitating in Kuwait, along with my colleague Billy Matthews from OneLeap.
The course, hosted by The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), was attended by leaders from various sectors. We grappled with the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence, pondering what changes the advancement of technology was bringing to leadership.
Whether we are in a leadership role or not, AI is increasingly part of the daily narrative. This is partly because AI is presently a buzzword, but the challenge is that we all have different thoughts, feelings and interpretations surrounding the term Artificial Intelligence or Generative AI.
And definitions only go so far. We might understand what AI is, but more importantly, we need to consider how we relate to it.
