Perhaps you are a perfectionist, perhaps you’re more like me and have a good level of pragmatism.

Either way I’m sure you heard about how perfectionism stalls progress.

The main reason for it?

Perfect doesn’t exist.

Why?

Your Perfect ≠ My Perfect ≠ Someone else’s perfect

It’s all subjective. So perfect will never be the case, for everyone at the same time.

Pareto Principle and a story

Let me tell you a story. Waaaaaay back in time I had my own webdesign agency, me and an old school buddy were building all sorts of websites for random businesses.

One of our clients wanted to launch an electronics e-com site. Now this was before Amazon and all similar sites were global, let alone that they were running all of their partner platform activities.

We had a store built, ready to launch. Product were created, payment possibilities working, styling done. Close to aligned launched date, we could go back to the drawing board.
