CBD has become a mainstay for its varied medicinal uses, outpacing other medications that are falling by the wayside. As the merits of medicinal cannabis continue to gain momentum, it has propelled Cannabidiol (CBD) to the frontlines of treatment as increasing research reveals the important role it plays in stimulating health through the endocannabinoid system and its receptors.

Among the varied symptoms that consumers turn to CBD for relief are emotional instability, anxiety, depression, and pain. CBD has also been recognized in the pharmaceutical industry, propelling the development of the very first FDA approved CBD drug used to treat severe seizures associated with Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.

By impacting endocannabinoid receptors throughout the body, CBD and other cannabinoids can help improve the body’s ability to fight off diseases and maintain harmony and health.

Today, CBD can be found through various brands such as PotNetwork Holdings, Inc. (OTCMKTS:POTN), featuring hemp-derived CBD oil in edibles, tinctures, vapes, as well as ointments to fuel a healthy body. These products are obtained through supercritical CO2 extraction involving high pressure carbon dioxide in a low temperature environment to procure quality and untainted CBD oil.

With increased activity in the sector along with a relaxation in cannabis standards throughout countries such as Canada and parts of the US, it is no surprise that the CBD market has prompted the development of innovative CBD products to cater to an ever growing demographic of enthusiasts.

Effective synergy

With CBD edibles such as chewy gummies becoming a highly popular form of consumption, it would seem natural that drinks would be next in line to receive a healthy dose of cannabinoids. By breaking down the CBD compounds into nanoparticles, this allows for CBD to be effectively and evenly distributed to maintain an equal balance with water.

One of the major advantages of CBD water is the fact that it boasts higher bioavailability, meaning CBD is able to maximize its effects when circulated and absorbed within the body without losing much of its original content. CBD and water make an ideal partner, as it can be effectively infused into the body to invigorate the body with essential hydration and the healing properties of CBD.

This makes CBD water such as CBD Living Water an ideal way to indulge in the cannabinoid while staying hydrated. Athletes and fitness enthusiasts can easily benefit from CBD before and after intense activity, as it provides highly capable anti-inflammatory properties that will help improve recovery and pain relief from physical activity.

Morning boost

CBD coffee and tea have emerged as another popular way for caffeine enthusiasts to add a dose of relaxation and the therapeutic effects of CBD to jump start their mornings. During the grinding and roasting phases of making coffee, CBD is efficiently integrated into the resulting oils to ensure a smooth taste.

According to Women Grow founder Jane West, “My colleagues, friends, and I have found that CBD-infused coffee largely does away with the anxiety and acid bellyache typically associated with coffee. That makes sense because research suggests CBD has anti-anxiety and anti-nausea effects. We’ve also found that compared to the coffee we reach for regularly, testers experience a less jittery, elevated burst of energy after drinking CBD-infused coffee.”

Brands such as Green Words Road feature CBD derived from organic industrial hemp. As it was carefully developed with the assistance of a certified pharmacist, the potent roast can serve as an ideal way to overcome the Monday blues and improve productivity in the office or elsewhere.

As tea is an effective antioxidant, it is also capable of maintaining a healthy body and mind, not to mention it has less caffeine than coffee. These healthy benefits of tea make it an effective partner alongside CBD, particularly their shared anti-inflammatory effects which can greatly reduce pain and improve balance among the body’s core systems.

Social outings

CBD infused alcoholic beverages such as beers are also developing into a considerable market, with Oregon based Coalition Brewing’s Two Flowers IPA being one of the most popular products in the US. The brewery plans to expand to other beer flavors like stouts and sours as well to cater to the diverse beer consumers in the country.

Cocktails containing CBD have also become a popular trend at various bars in cities across the country such as LA, which features several hotels and bars which have constsructed creative concoctions featuring the latest craze. They make an ideal way to end the night, allowing consumers to enjoy their favorite mixes while resetting the body and mind to end the day with a relaxing and completely healthy dose of CBD.

Of course, for those who choose not to drink, CBD-infused beverages such as CBD soda from Cannabinoid Creations is another alternative to enjoy the benefits of CBD. Other CBD beverages include tonic and lemonade, and the sector continues to grow with even Coca Cola eyeing an entry into the cannabis beverage business amidst reports of the soda giant engaging in discussions with Canada cannabis cultivator Aurora Cannabis.

Molson Coors, Constellation Brands, and Heineken are three other alcoholic beverage brands that have entered into partnerships to tackle non-alcoholic beverages as well, and it may very well become the most popular segment in the CBD industry depending on future developments.

As increasing research and relaxed regulations have led to CBD becoming a rising star in the cannabis industry, this has helped fuel new and convenient methods of consuming or in this case, imbibing on CBD to improve the body’s ability to remain healthy while having an enjoyable and even social experience in doing so. It may be just a matter of time until a more novel approach emerges on the horizon to challenge the current brands.
