They approach the problem by utilizing “ultrasonic beacons” on fixed locations inside the building. They communicate using the same protocols as GPS so it is “as if” your drone started getting the GPS signal inside.

Very innovative approach. Per their FAQ and bulletin board — looks like several users are trying to use it with drones. The solution is much more generic and could be used for general purpose asset tracking as well.
