Family gatherings. Concerts. Vacations. We all have different things we miss from “normal” life.

Let’s get back there together! Whatever your reasons, now is the time to join the #VaxUpManatee movement and help our community move toward a safer, healthier future.

More than 100,000 Manatee County residents have received at least the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. That’s about a quarter of our County’s population, but we need to increase that number if we want to reach herd immunity.

Join the movement and #VaxUpManatee!

If you haven’t gotten the vaccine yet, now is the time! Adults 16 and older are now eligible to be vaccinated. (NOTE: Only the Pfizer vaccine is approved for those ages 16 and 17. )

You can schedule an appointment to get a vaccine at one of the other local vaccine providers, such as CVS, Publix, Walgreens and Walmart.

Manatee County will also be hosting a first come, first-served drive-through event at Tom Bennett Park on Wednesday, April 21 from 8 a.m. to noon. No appointment or pre-registration is required for this event. Visit www.mymanatee.org/vaccine for more information and to download the consent form you should fill out and bring with you to get vaccinated.
