Manifest Joins Rakuten Marketing
Today we are thrilled to announce that Manifest Commerce is being acquired by Rakuten Marketing — the global ad tech division of one of the largest ecommerce companies in the world.
We have dedicated the last four years to our vision of creating a truly automated marketing solution that fundamentally changes e-commerce advertising. This acquisition is a milestone towards amplifying that vision as our journey continues, and we are thrilled that we’ll achieve it that much faster by teaming up with Rakuten Marketing.
Today, our partnerships with Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook enable us to offer a truly unique solution for social advertising around product catalogs. Our goal has always been to expand our technology so marketers can promote their product catalogs on every platform in the most intelligent possible way. With Rakuten Marketing, we look forward to starting that expansion by extending our reach into display, affiliate, and search.
In the coming months, we will be rolling out some exciting new features for retailers, including making our self-service retargeting and prospecting solution more broadly available. Our unique solution uses the data from retargeting to power the product intelligence behind prospecting. In this way, marketers can put their entire Facebook (and social) efforts under one umbrella, and use the data from their retargeting campaigns to help improve their new customer acquisition efforts. We’re excited for what’s to come.
