How we Increased Our Signup Rate by 60%
That’s probably the spammiest headline we’ve ever written, but the fact is that it might be an understatement to what actually has happened.
What We Did
We added a button.
Specifically, it was a Sign in with Slack button. (We wrote about it here.)
From a design perspective, it was a bad decision. We started with Two buttons and added a Third(!). Supposedly that’s not smart design for landing pages.

Apparently this Slack thing is big. Really big. Putting that button on our home page and specific landing pages caused our signup rate to increase by 60%. Whoa!!
We’re about 20 days into this experiment and we’re really excited. We’ve had our best month ever for new signups of our checklist service and subscriptions are also better than any other month.
