Alexander Khokhlov: Keyhole (2012)

To be human is to count

the present

among one’s possessions.

*

A sparsely furnished house

appears in my dreams –

or is my dream

since nothing happens

except my walking

room to room, surprised,

discomfited.

*

One can’t have

just one

experience.

(There will be

no one

to own it.)
