Nominate DOT & KSM to Earn Enhanced OM Rewards
Since the start of MANTRA DAO, we have been building our platform and products with the goal of supporting the Polkadot, Kusama, and Substrate ecosystems helping to bridge DeFi services across different blockchains and services. We are thrilled to be launching our enhanced OM rewards program through DOT and KSM nominations. Polkadot and Kusama stakers and community members can now earn extra OM rewards by just nominating the MANTRA DAO validator nodes!
Our team has been working hard to provide our users with the best staking experience and part of that means providing support for more tokens. Today we are thrilled to announce that we will be adding two new tokens for staking, $DOT and $KSM! These tokens will be the first of many more that we will be adding to our https://app.mantradao.com platform which will provide the Sherpa community with additional options of assets to earn daily passive rewards on!
The integration of DOT and KSM is the first step in our efforts to become the most encompassing staking platform in the DeFi ecosystem! DOT: ~13.50% APR + Variable APR OM rewards
KSM: ~ 14.00% APR + Variable APR OM rewards
- Reward Accrual Terms:
DOT: Rewards accrue every 24 hours (1 era = 24 hours)
KSM: Rewards accrue every 6 hours (1 era = 6 hours)
- Unbonding Periods:
DOT: Unbonding period is 28 days
KSM: Unbonding period is 7 days
- Additional OM Reward Distribution:
DOT: Starting at 500,000 OM for January 2021 based on individual node contributions proportional to the total staked amounted in the pool.
KSM: Starting at 500,000 OM for January 2021 based on individual node contributions proportional to the total staked amounted in the pool.
- Additional OM Reward Claim Periods:
Short Claim: 1 month (to receive 20% of accrued rewards, 80% of rewards are forfeited and reinvested towards long term stakeholders)
Long Claim: 6 months (to receive 100% of your rewards)
