There is no question that blockchain technology is looking to disrupt countless industries and one of those industries that is seeing a new type of model emerge is that of the vehicle rental industry. On Melalie, a new a peer-to-peer (P2P) mobility marketplace, people can rent vehicles such as bikes, scooters, motorbikes, cars, vans and trucks from each other, without the need for intermediaries. Their app can be downloaded in the App store (iOS) and the Google Play store (Android) and we are excited to help launch their $MEL token on ZENDIT!

What is Melalie?

Founded by Jan Plas, Melalie was started to offer a decentralized and community driven alternative way to help local people and small entrepreneurs generate an income with their vehicles by providing travelers with easy modes of transportation. By doing so they aim to make better use of existing vehicles and have a positive impact on the environment as well as local economies.
The MEL token can be used to pay for transactions, as well as being able to earn a portion of the transaction fee from token holders who stake the token.
On each transaction in the network, there is a fee of 5% / 10%. This fee is distributed to all token holders who have staked the token and are developing a platform to allow for voting and submitting proposals as well.
Melalie currently operates in Indonesia and have over 400+ listed vendors on the platform and this year they are expanding to The Netherlands and Thailand!

Participation Tiers

Sherpas who meet these participation requirements will be eligible to enter the highest participation tier they qualify for on a per-wallet basis. One wallet can only participate in one tier and cannot participate in multiple tiers.

Our participation tiers for ZENDIT from highest to lowest are:

Tier 1 EVEREST — Supplying 50,000 OM on ZENTEREST (zenOM)

Max Allocation Amount: $500

Tier 2 ACONCAGUA — Staking 40,000 OM on our old V2 pool or our new V2 pool (sOM), or supplying 40,000 OM on ZENTEREST (zenOM)
