What is MILC?

The MLT token will have core utilities including payments where MLT is used to pay for Content Licenses, governance where MLT token holders are able to vote for platform upgrades and community actions and activities on the MILC platform, launchpad where content producers will be able to fundraise for their projects and MLT holders can participate as investors, Staking where token holders can earn interest on their tokens.
MILC’s features include the ability to create, manage and deliver your video content as well as distribute your content to partners and buyers. MILC’s chain of rights management is completely transparent and creation of metadata in videos can implement AI-supported automatic subtitling (ie. editorial departments, archives). In addition, MILC provides a comprehensive solution for the distribution of film and TV programs including playout for your own IP-based TV channel (linear or on-demand)and supports DRM via Kaltura.
MILC will also incorporate B2C features which include interactive audience participation & voting, a reputation & quality score generator, consumer-to-creator curation & development, creator-to-consumer streaming, community recognition awards, and a reward system through the MLT Token.
The MILC Platform’s Content and Media Hub provides any content-seller or buyer an easy to execute marketplace. It includes the offering, marketing, rights management, contracting and the final delivery of the content in any imaginable technical format and will manage all relevant metadata of a license. This includes all existing broadcast formats (video/audio), as well as all descriptive and content data of a video asset which makes the path of content from the owner to the buyer is reduced to a few clicks.
The MILC platform only receives a trade fee if a sale has actually been made. The trade fee of 10% is significantly below the customary sales costs. At the same time, the platform pricing structure is degressive, so the platform fees reduce with greater utilization. The more trading takes place on the platform, the lower the distribution fee becomes for everyone.

Participation Tiers

*UPDATE — Tier 4 KILIMANJARO requirements are expanded to include staking 15,000 OM (sOM) in on our old V2 pool or our new V2 pool (sOM), or supplying 15,000 OM (zenOM).

Sherpas who meet these participation requirements will be eligible to enter the highest participation tier they qualify for on a per-wallet basis. One wallet can only participate in one tier and cannot participate in multiple tiers.

Tier 1 EVEREST — Supplying 50,000 OM on ZENTEREST (zenOM)

Max Allocation Amount: $1000

Tier 2 ACONCAGUA — Staking 40,000 OM on our old V2 pool or our new V2 pool (sOM), or supplying 40,000 OM on ZENTEREST (zenOM)

Max Allocation Amount: $800

Tier 3 DENALI — Holding 30,000 OM in your wallet, staking 30,000 OM (sOM) in on our old V2 pool or our new V2 pool (sOM), or supplying 30,000 OM (zenOM)

Max Allocation Amount: $600

Tier 4 KILIMANJARO — Holding a “100M OM Staked” NFT OR staking 15,000 OM (sOM) in on our old V2 pool or our new V2 pool (sOM), or supplying 15,000 OM (zenOM)

Max Allocation Amount: $400

Tier 5 ELBRUS — Holding a MANTRA DAO PolkaPet

4. Final step, complete this entry form before May 15th, 12:00 AM UTC

After the whitelist closes on May 15th, 12:00 AM UTC, we will be randomly picking a limited number of Sherpas for each tier who will have access to the pools and will be announcing the winners’ ERC-20 wallet addresses via our Twitter and Official News and Announcements on May 16th 12 PM UTC.

Please note that even if you are randomly selected to access the pool this does NOT guarantee you have an allocation and you will need to act fast in order to take part in the pool!
