In addition to being able to easily and effortlessly upload, manage, edit and publish geospatial data using just the browser, one of the benefits of Mapify is the ability to handle and process real-time geo data feeds without the need of writing code. However, it’s not always easy to have access to production sensor data or even access to similar hardware to build a solution in a short time while assuring everything will work right out of the gate.
Responding to several requests from our users, today we announced Mapify Simulator. Mapify Simulator allows you to simulate real-time sensor data based on your specifications and rules without requiring you to write any code and use only your browser!
Feed your Mapify Workflows with real-time data, which mimics production data without the hassle of setting up infrastructure or installing dedicated complex applications. On Mapify Simulator’s friendly interface, you specify rules and values randomly included in real-time messages to simulate live data. For example, you can limit a specific field to have values from predefined lists or to be contained in a particular numeric interval. And for geospatial data, you can have Mapify Simulator generate coordinates within a specific polygon or along a predefined path.
