The industry-leading omnichain network infrastructure built upon Light-client and zk-SNARK, MAP Protocol, has announced its partnership with Harmony, an open and fast blockchain that runs Ethereum applications with 2-second transaction finality and 100 times lower fees. MAP and Harmony will work closely together to build a trustless bridge connecting to every EVM and non-EVM chains using MAP’s omnichain network infrastructure with the best security and cost-efficiency.

MAP CTO, Phil Lau, said of the strategic cross-chain partnership, “It is fascinating to know that Harmony’s crosschain value aligns with MAP Protocol perfectly: developing a trustless solution that safeguards user’s assets with the best security and cost-efficiency. A trustless bridge requires a significant amount of time and technical knowledge to build. We are very excited to work with Harmony to overcome technological barriers collaboratively and accomplish the best cross-chain solution for Harmony’s community.”

Harmony CTO, Rongjian Lan, said, “MAP Protocol’s cross-chain technology is one of the safest and cost-effective cross-chain solutions in the market. Our partnership with them will connect Harmony’s community with all the public chains efficiently and securely. We look forward to working closely with MAP and offering our community the best cross-chain experience.”

MAP Protocol Features

  1. Security Finality

MAP Protocol provides blockchain-level security via independent self-verification cross-chain verification network with light-client and zk-SNARK.

2. Minimum Cost

On MAP Protocol, no additional cost for cross-chain transactions other than gas fees. MAP is conducting continuous R&D on zk-SNARK to further reduce gas fee to mininum.

3. All-chain Coverage

MAP Protocol extends EVM layer of MAP Relay Chain with pre-compiled smart contracts of public chains to seamlessly connect all EVM & non-EVM chains.

4. Instant Confirmation

MAP Protocol confirms cross-chain transactions instantly. Confirmation speed is only limited to each chain’s block time thanks to our trustless structural design and continuous optimization of workflow.

5. Developer Ready

MAP Protocol provides effortless integration via SDKs to dApp developers for straightforward omnichain application deployment.

Benefits to Harmony’s Community

  1. Connecting Harmony with all EVM and non-EVM chains securely with blockchain-level security of MAP Protocol.
  2. Harmony’s developer can build an omnichain application directly or upgrade their existing single-chain application to an omnichain application effortlessly through MAP’s SDK.
  3. MAP’s omnichain network allows Web3 residents from other chains to participate in Harmony’s ecosystem, and provides an user-friendly access for Web2 residents to enter into Harmony community, which drives new traffic and assets to Harmony, thus further enlarge Harmony community.

About MAP Protocol

MAP Protocol is the omnichain layer for Web3 with fully secure cross-chain communication built on Light-client and zk-SNARK technology. MAP provides the cross-chain infrastructure to public chains and dApps by connecting both EVM with non-EVM chains. Developers can access a full suite of SDKs so their dApps can easily become omnichain applications.
