MAP Protocol, the interoperable peer-to-peer omnichain infrastructure, has teamed up with Conflux, a PoW + PoS hybrid first-layer consensus blockchain for dApps that require speed at scale, without sacrificing decentralization. This strategic partnership aims to bring blockchain interoperability to the next level and make an interoperable and privacy-preserving future a reality.

By leveraging MAP Protocol’s trustless cross-chain technology built on light clients and Zero-Knowledge (ZK) proofs, Conflux has successfully enabled smooth interoperability with a range of EVM and non-EVM chains including Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Klaytn, and NEAR, thereby greatly expanding its ecosystem reach while maintaining the same level of decentralization.

Known for its unique “tree-graph” consensus mechanism and the partnership with China Telecom, a group with a vast user base of 390 million users, to create a blockchain-based SIM card, Conflux has always been an innovator in the space. This partnership marks Conflux’s significant move towards blockchain interoperability where not only assets but storage and computing are on the blockchain and interoperable.

“It’s not just about assets anymore. What we aim to achieve goes beyond just moving assets across chains. We’re laying the groundwork for an ecosystem where everything — from storage to computing — is on-chain and interoperable,” said a representative from Conflux.

Under this partnership, MAP Protocol’s trustless interoperable omnichain technology organically comes together with Conflux’s innovative robust PoW+ POS dApp scaling solution. This not only enables the free flow of assets but also will make blockchain-based storage capabilities accessible across different chains so that developers can create dApps that are interoperable and fully on-chain.

But both teams are far from done. There’s already excitement brewing about the future as both MAP Protocol and Conflux have set their sights on more ambitious projects. “This partnership is a major step toward our collective vision of a truly decentralized and interoperable blockchain ecosystem. We see endless possibilities for new applications and services that can revolutionize how we interact with technology,” said Phil, CTO at MAP Protocol.
