Card levels

Every Marble card has a level between 1–100. Based on what level it is, it will also have its generation symbol in one of the different colors displayed below.

A card’s level is set when it is created. The initial level of a card is defined by the quality of the marbled URL, along with the chance of a random bonus multiplier.

Cards are leveled up using XP.

Earn XP

XP is initially earned when you;

  • Marble a new card
  • Buy your own card from initial auction
  • Poach a card
  • Your card gets poached
  • People view your cards
  • Referrals
  • “Trading in” old cards

Examples;

When you trade in a card, the amount of XP you get depends on the card level, how old the card is along with the chance of random bonus multiplier.

XP Bonus

It will be possible to gain bonus XP if certain criterias are met.

Initially, you can gain bonus XP when you;

  • Marble a new card, while owning cards with special features, such as Genesis, Origin and Gold and High Level cards. The amount of bonus depends on which type(s) you own and how many.
  • Complete objectives that reward XP multiple days in a row and/or multiple times in one day. For example when you marble at least one card per day multiple days in a row.

Why High Level Cards?

High level cards will have the chance to receive various rewards, for example in terms of Origin cards and Marblecoin.

In the future, high level cards will, together with other special cards, be able to unlock more rare attributes, rewards and gameplay elements. You will also be able to alter the appearance of your card when it reaches certain levels by spending XP on it.

Finally, and very importantly, cards with impressive/popular meaning, visual expression, image and pattern etc, will be similarly rewarded in the upcoming social games.
