[ANN] 2025 Roadmap: Fun Comes First — Mic Drop
2024 was a challenging year for MARBLEX and our community. However, growth often takes time, and great things rarely happen overnight. Behind the scenes, our team has been hard at work preparing for a significant transformation: a complete redefinition of who we are, what we do, and how we approach the future.
We’re returning to our foundation, inspired by the core mission of our parent company, Netmarble — one of the world’s leading game publishers. Their vision is clear and straightforward: “Entertain the World with Fun Games.” At MARBLEX, we are bringing this same principle to the Web3 space because, for us, fun always comes first.
Our roadmap revolves around three core pillars:
- Onboard Fun Games: Introducing the Semi-Publishing Model to onboard diverse, high-quality games into the ecosystem.
- Expanding the Possibilities of Web3 Games: From tokens to NFTs, custom-tailored blockchain applications enhance each game’s core appeal, making Web3 games more accessible, and fun.
- Reinforcing Community and Developer Support: Strengthening our ecosystem through innovation, collaboration, and enhanced marketing support.

Until now, the MARBLEX business model has primarily focused on integrating Netmarble’s in-house games with Web3 technology. While this approach provided a strong foundation, it also presented certain limitations:
- Limited game releases: With a finite number of in-house games, our players faced longer wait times for each new title.
- Web2-first fundamentals: Netmarble’s games were designed with Web2 in mind, making blockchain and NFT integrations feel more like an afterthought.
- Genre constraints: A strong focus on RPGs meant less diversity in the kinds of games we wished to bring to the ecosystem.
It became clear that to truly level up, we needed a model that wasn’t just bigger, but better — one that unlocked more games, more innovation, and, most importantly, more fun. Enter the Semi-Publishing Model.
#1 POWER-UP: SEMI-PUBLISHING MODE
This is more than a simple pivot — it’s a strategic evolution. Backed by a joint fund exceeding $20 million with Immutable, the largest of its kind to date, we are expanding our focus to onboard a diverse range of games into the MARBLEX ecosystem.
What sets this model apart from the competition? It emphasizes quality over quantity and offers dedicated, hands-on support.
Key features of the Semi-Publishing Model include:
- Thorough evaluation to ensure every game offers fresh, diverse experiences.
- Tight-knit collaboration with developers to fine-tune game design and content.

In today’s gaming industry, effective marketing has become more critical than ever. With thousands of titles competing for attention, players are spoiled for choice, yet many of those choices often lead to disappointment.
The Web3 space faces similar challenges. While influencers and key opinion leaders (KOLs) maintain visibility across platforms like X and Telegram, and DAOs help sustain momentum, the ultimate success of any game depends on its players. Without a dedicated player base, even the most innovative titles will struggle to succeed.

Creator M, MARBLEX’s blockchain-powered marketing solution, rewards creators and supporters through tokenized incentives. Using smart contracts, it ensures faster settlements and eliminates the hurdles of traditional influencer contracts & payment.
After surpassing 300 videos and 12 million views for Solo Leveling: Arise, Creator M will now support all new Netmarble games set to launch globally. It is also set to evolve into a standalone platform for all games within the MBX ecosystem.
#4 GAME-FIRST NFT INTEGRATIONS
The concept of true ownership of in-game assets holds undeniable appeal for gamers. At MARBLEX, we’re embracing this idea by integrating NFTs across the MBX ecosystem — focusing on delivering fun and value while minimizing complexity.
Imagine this:
- Exclusive Ecosystem NFTs that don’t just give you lame consumables and coupons but unlock characters, costumes, and equipment usable across multiple games in our ecosystem.
- NFT-heavy experiences tailored to game genres: MMORPGs with tradeable NFT gear, board games with NFT buildings, and RPGS with exclusive NFT characters.
- Genre-specific tokenomics and NFTs that align seamlessly with gameplay, enhancing fun instead of disrupting it.
All of this will be supported by MBX Station, our one-stop solution that removes the barriers of NFT knowledge and ensures gameplay comes first. Players won’t need to learn about wallets or marketplaces — game-to-NFT interactions will be as seamless as equipping your favorite weapon or trading with a friend. #4–1 Adding Depth to Ownership
To support this, we’re also enhancing the way NFTs work in our ecosystem:
- Dynamic metadata updates: Instead of locking attributes in stone, we’re adopting a gamer-friendly system where metadata can evolve. This means NFTs can adapt as games grow, offering better interoperability with external marketplaces and keeping assets up to speed with the constant changes in the game.
- Resilient Digital Assets: With a fail-safe plan to transfer BaseURI to a decentralized storage solution (like IPFS) in the event of service termination. Your assets will remain secure, accessible, and can be repurposed or transformed into new opportunities.
- Deposit/Withdraw trade mechanics: Instead of burning NFTs, game-specific contracts enable seamless deposit and withdrawal, allowing NFTs to be actively used in games while ensuring secure and efficient management as assets.
External marketplaces often struggle with real-time metadata synchronization, creating mismatched data during transactions. MBX Station as a hub, can guarantee data accuracy and offer superior, fast user experiences. Additionally, with Immutable’s OrderBook API, we’re exploring ways to enable P2P trading and community features, so players can connect and trade directly within our ecosystem.
#4–2 NFT Adventures : More IP Collaborations Coming
Our NFT Adventure service makes NFTs fun and accessible by integrating gamified elements. The first journey began last October with Koongya Restaurantz, a beloved Korean IP, featuring the Koonyaz tied to interactive missions and rewards. (They sold out instantly)
With future collaborations involving global mega IPs, NFT Adventure is set to elevate engagement and expand its impact across the MBX ecosystem.
Our ultimate goal? Make NFTs feel like a natural extension of gaming, enhancing the experience rather than complicating it. At MARBLEX, it’s always game first, NFTs second.

We’re on the hunt for talented developers outside of Korea, pitching fresh ideas with the AI tech team at Netmarble, and even hosting a game development hackathon in collaboration with Dracoon Ventures and Immutable to spark innovation as we speak!
With our most ambitious roadmap yet, MARBLEX is poised to become the ultimate playground for gamers and developers alike.
