[ANN] ‘Game On, Chain On’ Recap — Behind the Scenes
Dear MARBLERS,
Our offline event for KBW2024 was a great success, over 1,300 people showed up!
“Game On, Chain On” was made possible thanks to the collaborative efforts from Immutable, the leading web3 gaming platform in the world.
We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to all our incredible partners and affiliates for their support, and to all the blockchain enthusiasts who joined us, making the evening truly spectacular.
Here’s a quick recap of the event behind the scenes.
▶ The Venue (MM Seongsu)
Located in one of the trendiest areas of Seoul, Seongsu-dong is often called the “Brooklyn of Seoul.” Its vibrant atmosphere made it an ideal spot for aspiring entrepreneurs and creative minds of the blockchain community.

▶ Entrance and project merch giveaways
Upon entering the venue, staff members were handing out various merchandise from event hosts and sponsors including tote bags, t-shirts, hats, and all sorts of goodies!
Greeting the guests from the main entrance was a photo wall featuring Netmarble’s franchise mascot, Koongya and his buddies from “Koongya Restaurantz”. Why were they here? Keep reading to find out!
▶ Gaming booths
Throughout the venue, MARBLEX and partners had multiple gaming booths set up. At the peak of the event, the booths were so crowded that it was practically impossible to move!
MARBLEX games included our usual line-up of Meta World: My City, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, A3: STILL ALIVE, and The King of Fighters ARENA.
▶ Koongya NFT booth
Remember Koongya and his friends propped out at the entrance? Inside the venue was a special booth where MARBLEX was handing out various Koongya merch and explaining their upcoming service.
Officially announced at this year’s KBW (Korean Blockchain Week), the newest MARBLEX service called NFT Adventure was revealed to launch in October!
The first collaborative project titled “Koongyaz Universe Odyssey” will feature characters from “Koongya Restaurantz” as NFTs. As users take part in the adventure with Koongya, they will be able to earn special rewards and merchandise along the way.
Many guests were eager to learn about our new service and bombarded us with questions. It was clear that the excitement and curiosity were at an all-time high!

▶ Keynote speeches and mini-events
As the venue hit maximum capacity, several keynote speakers took the stage to introduce their projects and games. Plus, we had multiple treasure hunts that led to “Lucky Draw” raffles with some amazing prizes up for grabs! Big congrats if you happened to be a lucky winner!

As we conclude our recap of “Game On, Chain On” at KBW2024, we want to thank everyone who made the event a success.
