▶ Game token staking service launch : 8/25
The game token staking of MARBLEX is a service that provides MBXL, the top token, as a reward for staking game tokens. The game token staking service is run seasonally, and the reward resources allocated for each season are distributed based on the proportion of staked tokens held by participating users. The staking of MARBLEX is a user-participating service that allows anyone who plays diligently to earn MBXL. Through the staking service, we expect the value of game tokens to stay stable and demand to keep growing.
2) Staking reward system policy for token return
The biggest difference of the Game Token staking service is the staking reward.
Up to 10% of game sales will be used as staking rewards for user return. As mentioned in the white paper, the reward resources for game token staking are secured by the publisher through market transactions. By returning and distributing the purchased MBX tokens to users, 1) gives users the purpose of game token staking, 2) acts as a catalyst to reduce the circulation of game tokens in the market, and maintains the value of game tokens. In addition, 3) the continued purchase of MBX in the market will support the activation of MBX trading and preservation of value. The staking of MARBLEX can create a strong virtuous cycle for value preservation by forming a reciprocal relationship between game tokens and MBX.
MARBLEX has been thinking about the token return policy for a long time. We did not stop at the idea of using game sales to provide staking rewards, and we thought about making more users active in the MARBLEX ecosystem.
We introduced the ‘Matching Reward Fund’ system that grants the same staking rewards set in accordance with the Token Return Policy policy.
3) Matching Reward Fund ?
The ‘Matching Reward Fund’ is a system in which the publisher earns the same amount of MBX as a reward fund, as well as the same amount of MBX as a game token staking reward fund.
To activate the ecosystem, the Community Fund allocates the same amount as the stake reward set by the publisher.
The following are the benefits that each ecosystem participant can obtain from the game token staking model and the ‘Matching Reward Fund.
- Publishers and Ecosystem Contributors: Increased game token self-value via the game token staking program, increased motivation to hold game tokens, and enhanced game participation via increased utilization of game tokens. Sales are expected to rise as game content’s lifespan is extended.
- MARBLEX: Activation of the MBX transaction as a result of the publisher’s ongoing purchase of MBX. Due to the activation of game token staking by users, the token price will stabilize and the ecosystem’s sustainability will increase.
- Users: Increase the value retention of game tokens acquired through gameplay and ensure the ability to acquire MBX tokens by holding game tokens.
The essence of the Matching reward fund is that the staking service forms a sustainable self-circulating structure. The staking reward resource utilizing up to 10% of sales and additional reward support through the matching reward fund make staking more attractive. The staking service planned by MARBELX is the first step in enhancing the sustainability of the ecosystem.
