1. The Throne:

Mostly young drum player use stools or chairs that do not adjust to proper height while playing the drum. Hence, it is crucial to have a good drum throne.

Adjust the throne height properly so that you will feel centered and balanced every time. Make sure your thighs are parallel to the ground and heels are below the knees.

2. Snare Drum:

Next thing to do is to locate snare drum in a comfy position according to Marc Brattin a famous drummer. The height, as well as angle while adjusting snare drum, vary for everyone.

Plus, avoid the extreme angle as this will affect the sound that drum produce. A drummer has to place floor toms almost at the same height as that of snare drum and also make sure there is a good amount of space for his/her legs to move.

7. Cymbal:

Place the crash cymbal to the left of toms and also in reach of both hands. It is also advisable to place ride cymbal a few inches above and to the right of another tom.
