You could have called

their love a dance

A straight out of blue romance

They danced so closely

they almost looked like one

They danced nightly

till they saw the morning sun

Then one day the music ends

The last tango played again

and again

If you go there and you

listen to the walls

You can hear them laughing

as they dance down the halls

At night they are in the sky

you can see them dancing by

Search with your heart

as you gaze into the stars

You can see them dancing

between Jupiter and Mars

You could have called

their love dance

A straight out of blue romance

They danced so closely

they almost looked like one

Now they dance nightly

till they see the morning sun

As an unrepentant poet I dig through the bone-pile of words left behind. With good fortune I resurrect them and they ascend for all to see.
