Cup of Salvation Film Review

4th film in the SOMM Series directed by Jason Wise

If you’re a wine lover, I’m guessing there’s a good chance you’re already familiar with the SOMM empire created by Jason Wise more than a decade ago. Since the first SOMM film release in 2012, there have been three more full-length films, including the most recent offering, ‘Cup of Salvation.’

In addition to these full-length films, wine enthusiasts can subscribe to a channel almost exclusively about wine. SOMM TV provides hundreds, if not thousands, of hours for everything from winery tours, wine education, tastings, and many other movies and documentaries. There is also a SOMM TV podcast.

Today, I’m reviewing the latest film in the SOMM series. ‘Cup of Salvation’ started appearing in select theaters several months ago. The next step was to make it available on SOMM TV for rent or purchase, but as of February 23, 2024, it became free for subscribers. I have watched it twice since then.
