MAP Protocol Embraces Defi and Sets Out to Change the World
DEFI stands for Decentralized Finance is a really hot topic at the moment, which pushes Ether hits 400 dollars and the gas fee now is reached to 300gwei at the time of writing this article.
So what’s DEFI? What’s so unique about DEFI? As an average John Doe, can we catch the DEFI wave?
In today’s MAP future tech talk series, we are going to explain DEFI and see a list of cool DEFI services one by one.
Decentralized Finance or DeFi is “a movement that leverages decentralized networks to transform old financial products into trustless and transparent protocols that run without intermediaries”. In other words, it puts the average bank clients on the same level that bankers are on.
With the power of the Ethereum blockchain, we can act as the exchanges, liquidity providers, and lenders with no hassle — contributing to increasing the liquidity and stability of the entire decentralized financial system, that we all create for ourselves and for our financial freedom needs.
The following is a list of popular DEFI projects running at the moment sorted by Market Cap.
What’s MAP’s Position
But where is MAP’s position in the DEFI world? Remember MAP’s initial concept is to change the world financial system by providing a financial infrastructure on blockchain architecture. Almost now every popular Defi Projects are built on top of Ethereum and users are suffering like high gas cost and slow network output. It’s intimidating seeing that you have to pay 10 dollars as the gas cost for one single transaction such as stake the pool. I know everyone is waiting for ETH 2.0, but as a tech-background person, I can tell you now upgrading a public chain worth multi-billions is not an easy task for anyone and I guarantee you that ETH 2.0 probably will delay for another 6 months or a year or so, or even never get launched.
That’s where those new promising projects have the upper hand now because MAP learns from the previous projects and sets the goal right at the very beginning, built-in interoperability system, all those features will make the future Defi on MAP much easier.
Certainly, MAP is doing unbelievably well in the Defi space, and once MAP is matured with its multi-chain system and built-in payment infrastructure, the potential is massive. From this week onwards, we are going to dive deep into the DEFI world to help fans to see some real making money opportunities in the DEFI world. Stay tuned and MAP to da moon.
